Quick steps to keep your Purrsona pieces crisp and long-lasting.
Wood Structure
- Wipe with a barely damp cloth; dry immediately.
- No harsh chemicals or oils.
Wool Felt Treetop
- Vacuum or use a lint roller to remove hair and dust.
- Spot-clean with cool water + a drop of mild soap; blot (don’t rub).
- Air-dry flat; light steam through a thin cotton cloth is OK to relax creases (no soaking, no high heat).
Cotton Cushion Covers (twill & sherpa)
Refresh after shipping (≈2 minutes)
- Lay cushion flat. Place a thin cotton cloth over the surface.
- Light steam through the cloth; smooth by hand.
- Run a finger around the side seam to stand the edge up.
- Wash: remove cover; machine wash cold, gentle with mild detergent.
- Dry: line-dry or tumble low; do not hot-dry.
- Press: light steam is OK; avoid direct iron on any inner film.
Natural Latex Core
- Do not machine-wash.
- Spot-clean with a lightly damp cloth; air-dry away from heat/sun.
- Store out of direct sunlight and high heat.
Hemp Scratching Post
- Vacuum with a soft-brush attachment to remove hair/debris.
- Spot-clean with mild soap + water; pat dry.
Fit Note (what “right” looks like)
- Cushions are designed for a snug press-fit with a small, even reveal; a light hand-press seats them flat. The side seam should sit on the edge (no rolling onto the top).
